March 1, 2014

April 16, 2014

This race has sold out the last two years. Don’t delay registering.

Relay Teams

Relay teams must consist of two athletes and three at the most. Relay teams are highly encouraged for those who would like to experience a triathlon but are not quite ready to do all three events combined. It is the perfect way to try a tri for those new to the sport or others who may be coming back from an injury.

Aqua Bike

Aqua Bike must consist of only one athlete. It is the perfect way to race multisports for those who choose for personal reasons to opt out of the run. It consists of the swim and bike portions and ends after dismounting your bike at the dismount line and crossing the timing mat with your bike into transition. You may transfer to the Aqua Bike division seven (7) days prior to the event with no additional transfer charge or refunds of the difference. If you choose to transfer up from the Olympic to the Half, the difference in registration costs will be added.

DNF (Did Not Finish)

If you do not complete the race you registered for you will be listed as a DNF.

Olympic refunds will be accepted until April 1 minus a $40 fee per individual and $60 fee per team. Half refunds will be accepted until April 1 minus an $80 fee per individual and $100 fee per team. After April 1, no refunds will be given. No exception! You must submit an e-mail to race director to receive a refund.

A transfer to another division or race distance will be allowed prior to Friday, April 18 with no additional refunds of the difference. If you choose to transfer to a longer distance race or division, the difference in registration costs will be added. If a racer would like to transfer their entry to a Relay team or transfer to another Charlottesville Multisports race this year, a $15 race transfer fee will apply along with any difference in registration costs.

No transfers will be allowed after April 18. No exceptions! We do not provide deferrals to next years races. You must submit an e-mail to race director to receive a transfer.

Participants who swap or sell their race number will not be allowed to race and will be subject to disciplinary action by USAT. They will also be banned from any future Charlottesville Multisports races.
